Aidan Mitchelmore, Architect OAA, joined CS&P in 2020 after previously completing an internship during his undergraduate studies. Upon receiving his Master of Architecture in 2017 from the University of Waterloo, Aidan was awarded the Alpha Rho Chi medal for Leadership and Professional Promise.
His thesis, titled ‘The Couterpublic of Union Station’, received a nomination for the Canadian Architect Award before it was exhibited at the University of Waterloo, Carleton University, and as part of the OAA’s inaugural SHIFT program in 2019, recognized with an honorable mention.
Aidan is a frequent external reviewer for Ontario Schools of Architecture with previous experience teaching design studio at Laurentian University and as a contributing writer for Canadian Architect Magazine.
With over a decade of work experience spanning three continents, Aidan has gathered a diverse range of experience and perspective. His expertise centers on public and education buildings, having worked with over a dozen post-secondary institutions on a variety of projects including master planning and programming, as well as schematic design through construction to completion.
At CS&P, Aidan has contributed extensively to the St. Clements School Renovation and Addition, working through Construction Documents and Construction Administration, and as Job Captain for numerous space use studies for the University of Windsor.
