Joao received his bachelor degree with high honors in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in 2010, and practiced as a licensed architect in Brazil until 2016, before moving to Canada. Once in Toronto, Joao pursued his advance diploma in Architectural Technology at the Centennial College, and graduated in 2018 with high honors. Joao joined CS&P in 2021 and has since then worked on multiple institutional designs of varied scales, including high schools, universities and community & sports centers.

Joao is experienced in multiple project phases, from feasibility studies to construction administration. He has acquired great experience and familiarity with multiple drafting and modeling software, benefiting from technology to develop a holistic approach to spatial problem solving.
