A Principal of CS&P Architects, Peter Ortved has over 50 years of experience as a practicing architect and is widely respected for his knowledge of planning, design, professional practice and the construction industry. Peter assumes primary responsibility for project development and spearheads many of CS&P’s most significant civic and justice projects. Peter’s expertise stems from a wealth of experience on different project delivery formats, particularly design build, compliance services and public private partnerships. His interest in publicly promoting excellence in architecture has led him to serve on a number of design award juries and as a Professional Advisor for national and international architectural design competitions. His background is extensive, with a focus on excellence in design and the creation of sustainable, accessible buildings and communities. Peter has been active on a number of professional committees within the RAIC and the OAA, and in the community he has been a board member and President of several organizations including, most recently, Chair of Heritage Toronto.
